Soft tissue surgery

Tumor removal, wound repair, and other surgeries inside the body

What is soft tissue surgery here?

It covers surgeries that are not bone or joint work: removing masses, repairing wounds, and operating inside the abdomen when your pet needs it. Every plan is built around the condition, breed, and health of your pet.

How do you decide whether to operate?

We start with an exam and, when needed, imaging or lab work. You get a written estimate before treatment. Nothing starts until you have reviewed it.

How do you keep my pet comfortable?

Dr. Harika has more than 20 years of veterinary experience. We use pain control before, during, and after surgery, plus continuous anesthesia monitoring. Comfort is part of the plan, not an extra.

What should I expect after surgery?

Most pets go home with an e-collar or recovery suit and clear activity limits, often 10 to 14 days. Watch for a clean, closing incision and a returning appetite. Call us if redness, discharge, or unusual lethargy shows up.

What happens at this visit?

  • Exam, explanation of the procedure, and a written estimate.
  • Surgery with individualized anesthesia and monitoring.
  • Aftercare steps, pain medicine, and a recheck plan.

What to bring

Bring a short list of what your pet eats and any medications or preventives they take. You do not need old clinic records if we already see your pet here. Follow any fasting instructions we give when you book.
