During open hours, our veterinarians can evaluate many urgent concerns for existing clients, including sudden GI signs, pain or limping, minor wounds, fever, urinary straining (when not blocked and collapsing), and other same-day sick-pet needs. We also use our diagnostics and can discuss next steps that may include surgery or supportive care.
We are a full-service daytime hospital—not a specialty overnight ER.
We are not open overnight and we are not a 24/7 emergency clinic. If your pet collapses, cannot breathe normally, has uncontrolled bleeding, is seizuring, may have ingested a toxin, or otherwise needs care when we are closed, go to the nearest 24/7 emergency animal hospital. Many South Bay families use MedVet Silicon Valley; choose whichever ER is closest and open. Do not wait for our next open hour when signs are severe.
