Education and Early Life

Dr. Shanker earned his veterinary degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, then completed a 14-month internship at the institution that is now the Tufts University veterinary school. He went on to spend 43 years as the sole owner and director of The Cat Hospital in Campbell, CA, dedicating his career entirely to feline medicine and surgery. He is now affiliated with Morgan Hill Animal Hospital and Dr. Jaspal Harika and associates, bringing his decades of feline-focused experience to pet families throughout the Bay Area.
